About
Charley Harris Fitness
I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor who has years of experience working with individuals burned out from failed diets, social media trends, and ineffective workouts. With the inundation of information in the fitness industry, it's easy to get overwhelmed and either not know where to begin or not know how to keep going. Wouldn't it be helpful to just have one voice you trust?
A healthy life is not made just in our workouts or in our kitchens, it extends into the way we form habits and recover from setbacks. Let's exercise in an effective manner that minimizes risk of injury, joint inflammation, and fatigue. Let's eat in a way that makes us feel fueled, energized, and liberated from the dieting wheel. It's time to get off the roller coaster of fitness ups and downs- losing weight only to gain it back, seeing results only to beat yourself up when you can't maintain them.
The fittest version of you is not only achievable, it's sustainable. Book the FREE-30 minute consultation below to learn how.
Experience the Transformation

Nutrition Support
Exercise is only a small part of the fat loss or muscle building equation. To many, that's shocking (and maybe upsetting) news. The fitness world is a multi-billion dollar industry that has conflated the role of exercise in fat loss to sell ineffective, pseudo-science programs. This leads to a continuous cycle of short bouts of high effort followed by burnout, disappointment, and the feeling of being inherently broken or unable to achieve your goals. That isn't true. You can lose the fat or gain the muscle or even do both at the same time. Nutrition in combination with an intentional, well-designed exercise program is a powerful strategy for lasting change. Contact me today to learn what that might look like for you.
Build your body up. Don't break it down.
Not all exercises are created equal. Uneducated fitness professionals put their clients through the ringer of odd, convoluted exercises that often lead to more joint pain, inflammation, and swelling than fat loss or muscle gain. I put exercises through a risk versus reward analysis based on the physics of how they distribute load through the body, meaning: are they actually loading the muscles they claim to work? I follow the principles of what has been consistently evidenced in the literature to provide results and I leave the unfettered claims to lesser trainers. Bird dogs and hanging leg lifts won't load your abdominals enough to see changes, but I know what will. Let's work smarter, together.

Lasting Habits
Many people have been through a health journey at some stage of their life. Many people have lost weight only to gain it back within a year. Others have built muscle only to find they couldn't keep growing lean mass after the first two or three months. As a mother, I quickly realized that the habits I thought were healthy before my pregnancy were not evidence based and were certainly not sustainable with the new demands on my most precious resources: time, energy, and money. Here's the difference between people who lead a healthy life versus people who have healthy phases: it's easy. Don't believe that healthy changes can be easy for you? Contact me today.
